GOLDEN COFFEE

Colombia is the northernmost tip of South America between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is one of the most bioverse countries in the world and has many cultures centered around water.

Sailing happens at sea level and lakes above 2,600 meters, in all kinds of weather and temperatures. The Colombian Sailing Federation was founded in 1958, since then the sport has grown mainly around lightning, snipe, sunfish, ilca and optimist classes. Both wind surfing and kite have become increasingly popular.

Sailors in the young Colombian team come from these classes, are active in Colombia and around the world. Many of them know each other from their optimist days and trust that their friendship will help them build a very powerful SSL team.
